She graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry in 1994. While actively working as a private clinician for 28 years, she also worked as a dental clinic manager, team organizer, medical device developer, and patient relations manager. She completed her post-professional education mainly in the fields of aesthetic dentistry, surgery, and restorative dentistry. In addition to her profession, Nalan Abbasoğlu, who continues her studies in philosophy, classical philology, and cinema, continues her documentary and film work. She won awards in many international platforms with her short film Khora.

BIOGRAPHY
He started his undergraduate education at Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry in 2009 and completed it as the third highest student of his term. In 2014, he was accepted to the doctoral program at Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Orthodontics, where he worked as a Research Assistant.
In 2020, he presented his doctoral thesis titled “Effects of Micro-Osteoperforations on Osteoclastic and Osteoblastic Activities in Young and Adult Rats” and received the title of Doctor of Dentistry. His doctoral thesis was supported by TÜBİTAK within the scope of the 1002 – Short-Term R&D Financing Program. In addition to case presentations in many refereed congresses and symposiums, he has various articles published in scientific journals.
She is a member of the Communications Committee and the Board of Auditors of the Lingual Orthodontics Association. He is also a member of the Turkish Orthodontics Association, the American Orthodontics Association and the World Orthodontics Federation.
She currently works in the fields of orthodontic treatment with metal and ceramic brackets, clear plate treatments and lingual orthodontic treatment.
